Chedid Capital, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to Perform thorough insurance industry analysis, investment valuations, and M&A support.

Responsibilities
- Conduct macro-economic and sector research.
- Prepare insurance industry analysis (Benchmarks, Ratios, etc.) and identify key trends with implications on the group
- Assist in screening and generating investment ideas.
- Prepare investment analysis and valuations for short listed ideas for various asset classes: equities, fixed income, structured products, managed funds, ETFs, private equities and alternative investments.
- Conduct industry research including financial modelling and valuation, prepare reports on industry trends, portfolio performance, risk analysis, capital allocation plans and ad hoc reports.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive valuation and comparative analysis on targets and translate analysis into clear and concise presentations for board reviews.
- Assist in the analysis and valuation of M&A targets
- Assist in the financial due diligence on M&A targets
- Assist in the execution of the M&A process throughout the transaction life cycle.
- Prepare investment presentations
- Prepare business plans as requested
- Assist in preparing clear and concise presentations for board reviews
- Assist in developing reports for reporting purposes
- Keep abreast the changes and developments in financial and regulatory an laws, decrees, regulations and instructions which have an impact on financial activities
- Perform any other duties as requested
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
- CMA and/or CFA is a plus
- 5+ years’ of relevant experience
- Strong quantitative financial skills
- Proficiency in Bloomberg is a plus
- Computer skills including proficiency in Python, Scala, R, SQL, Tensor flow or equivalent is a plus
