Chedid Capital is looking for Claims Officer (Non-Life), based in Lebanon. The role focuses on non-life claims management activities.

Responsibilities
- Review notification and take prompt action to identify coverage and notify reinsurers without delay
- Maintain proper claims documentation, review claim reports and coverage documents, and follow-up with insurers on outstanding claims for resolution purposes
- Follow-up with insurers for settlement of claims
- Communicate with clients and reinsurers to facilitate settlement of claims in a smooth manner
- Follow-up with Finance in order to collect cash-calls claims and ensure that payments are issued in a timely manner
- Implement department policies and procedures
- Perform data entry of claims accurately into the system
- Issue closings (e.g. debit and credit notes) for the assigned territory accurately and in a timely fashion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is preferred Insurance/Reinsurance products & practices awareness is a plus
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
