Chedid Capital is looking for a Group Medical Surveillance Senior Specialist that will be responsible for overseeing best practices in the performance of consulting physicians and ensuring proper implementation of group directives. They contribute to a cross-functional approach by coordinating between the group’s various departments and the medical departments of Ascoma subsidiaries.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance of Ascoma’s consulting physicians and ensure adherence to group medical protocols.
- Analyze the activities of the medical departments across Ascoma subsidiaries.
- Monitor medical care practices and the medical review of claims invoices.
- Support medical teams in improving performance indicators.
- Contribute to health-related projects, including the redesign of the health system tool and other operational improvements.
- Provide input on setting and formalizing performance indicators.
- Participate in compliance audits, inspections, and evaluations.
- Assess current systems and propose enhancements to combat fraud and abuse.
- Coordinate with group departments and medical directors of Ascoma subsidiaries.
- Attend client meetings as needed.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Medicine or Pharmacy.
- Experience in health insurance or health management (TPA experience is a plus).
- Fluency in French and English is a must.
- Willingness to travel to Africa regularly.
- Knowledge of public health systems and medical best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Ability to synthesize complex issues and provide clear, timely advice.
- Professional discretion, critical thinking, and ethical standards.
