Chedid Capital is looking for a Credit Control Director. The role is Responsible for overseeing the company’s credit management function, ensuring the effective collection of outstanding balances while maintaining strong relationships with clients & Insurance companies. Responsible for setting and enforcing credit policies, managing credit risk, and achieving financial targets and cash flow objectives.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures to minimize financial risk.
- Assess and set /propose credit limits for new and existing clients based on financial analysis and creditworthiness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Oversee the timely collection of outstanding balances, reducing debtor days and improving cash flow.
- Monitor aged debt reports, identifying and addressing overdue accounts.
- Handles delinquent accounts, including negotiations, repayment plans.
- Prepare and present regular reports on credit risk, debtor aging, and collection performance to senior management.
- Collaborate with the finance team on cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
- Work closely with sales/ operations and risk management teams to align credit control strategies with business objectives.
- Liaise with clients to ensure clear communication regarding payment terms, outstanding invoices, and dispute resolution.
Requirements & Skills
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar field/role.
- Experience in insurance, insurance broker or TPA is a plus.
- Proficiency in French and English is a must.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to Africa on short-term missions, depending on business needs.
