Chedid Capital is looking for an Actuarial Analyst. The role focuses on performing actuarial analysis and developing modelling tools.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Brokers to provide support for client cases and requirements.
- Cleanse information and data to provide significant data for actuarial analysis.
- Perform actuarial analysis and assist in recommending the optimal reinsurance structures given client risk profile and underwriting Strategy in the treaty reinsurance.
- Participate in preparing annual benefit plan/ Treaty renewals for clients to ensure clients are receiving fair and equitable ratings and premiums.
- Participate in preparing professional technical presentations to be presented to clients and reinsurers.
- Gather and compile statistical data for reporting purposes.
- Assist in identifying market trends, inflation, and outliers.
- Participate in developing modeling tools and spreadsheets to assist clients in assessing financial terms of insurers proposals.
- Assist in preparing basic pricing Treaty reinsurance – benchmark for new businesses based on the data provided by clients.
- Prepare claim projections and trend analysis for clients through tracking claims and updating forecasts to compare funding mechanisms.
- Assist in developing models to predict the pattern of incurred but not reported.
Requirements
- BAC +5 in Actuarial Science
- 2 to 4 years of experience preferably in modelling and pricing
- Dynamism, organizational and communications skills
