The group’s technology team is looking for an experienced Lead QA Specialist to oversee the smooth rollout of the group’s core applications, websites, and mobile applications. You will join an agile, dynamic, and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that deliver the group’s vision and strategy.
As a Lead QA Specialist, you will play a key role in leading the creation and execution of test plans and test case scenarios to ensure the group’s wide variety of digital products are market-ready in terms of functionality, reliability, stability, performance, and compatibility with other systems.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance testing standards throughout software development lifecycle including bug fixes and enhancements.
- Define robust test plans for various digital products (incl. test automation, performance testing, negative testing, code and coverage analysis, compatibility testing, etc.)
- Design test cases for verification and validation of user scenarios (including functional, regression and load tests)
- Collaborate with product teams (developers, product manager, etc.) to analyze and document project requirements.
- Execute full testing cycles to ensure high quality deliverables.
- Revise test cases created by the QA team to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Analyze, document, report, and track bugs in the project backlog, set priorities, and follow-up on bug resolution.
- Develop and follow-up on related user stories or requirements with the product and technical managers to ensure their adherence to the needed standards and overall completeness requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve current processes and procedures.
- Analyze business requirements, and update test cases to meet new business needs.
- Supervise and write software test cases and log their execution.
- Review release pipelines with DevOps engineer
- Manage DevOps dashboards to provide insights and reports needed.
- Keep management updated with progress reports and achieved milestones.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field of IT and technology for testing and recommendation purposes.
- Help in maintaining a healthy and efficient team workspace.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of software quality assurance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or IT related field – master’s degree is a plus.
- ISTQB Certification is a plus.
- Confirmed stream lead experience.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, leveraging relevant project, and testing toolkits (Azure DevOps and Selenium a must)
- Solid track record in automated test development
- Experience in developing manual and automatic test cases for performance, security, and UI testing.
- Strong self-drive and proactive approach to meet business objectives.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think end-to-end, both at strategic and nitty-gritty operational levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required, French and Arabic a plus)
- Experience in insurance/ Insurtech and/ or finance/Fintech a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
