Chedid Capital is looking for a Business Development Executive. The role focuses on screening, reviewing and analyzing submissions, preparing renewal notices and slips, obtaining quotes, negotiating with reinsurers, performing compliance checks and promoting Chedid Re services.

Responsibilities
- Follow up on daily business coming from Pakistan and Indian Sub-Continent on all lines of business. Cooperate between insurance companies, brokers and reinsurers to be able to support or provide quotation or give advice to the clients. Moreover, cooperate with the teams of each department internally to receive the needed support on each line of business.
- Support the tenders in Pakistan and Indian Sub-Continent on all levels. Receive the tenders, work the same with our relevant teams / reinsurers and get the quotations in order to secure the business.
- Take care of the renewals on all lines of business
- Must have relationship and Open new doors and channels in Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka to receive new business.
- Assist his UAE/Lebanon colleagues on any line of business if needed.
- Assist Development Head in all day-to-day activities assigned by him including but not limited to record keeping, follow ups, accountings, statement preparation, budgeting, and development plans etc.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-4 years of Experience in Re- insurance
- Must have relationship with Insurance companies in Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka .
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance or equivalent in a similar field
- Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate is a plus.
