The group’s technology team is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join the infrastructure and support team at Monaco, and assist in rolling out new technologies and infrastructure setups, as well as catering for staff requirements through IT service desk requests.

Responsibilities

    • Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for local users
    • Resolve network issues on the company’s local switches and firewall environment
    • Resolve internet or WAN connectivity issues
    • Troubleshoot O365 events and support requests
    • Setup new workstations and software configurations
    • Install relevant hardware and it’s corresponding drivers
    • Connect workstations and peripherals to local network, and setup relevant ports
    • Set up VOIP phones and apply needed configurations
    • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and tools, ensuring stock levels meet operational needs.
    • Assign appropriate licenses to users through applied policies and procedures
    • Modify group memberships according to changes and management requests
    • Review file sharing permissions for conformity with function owners
    • Liaise with the suppliers to identify and solve external issues
    • Follow up on licenses and support renewal processes
    • Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of equipment and tools, including onboarding items for new employees or replacements for existing tools.
    • Monitor, pickup, and assign GLPI tickets across CCH and African entities
    • Manage workstations through available cloud support tools
    • Monitor and update workstations with the latest patches
    • Support users with other windows or MS office requests
    • Document issues and solutions to the IT service management platform (ipam,wiki…)
    • Assist in projects assigned to them, including tasks related to DevOps, such as automation, monitoring, and deployment processes…

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Certification in Microsoft, HP, VMware or Cisco is plus
  • French working proficiency, English basic proficiency Professional Azure and Cybersecurity certifications are plus.
  • 0-3 years of experience in the support field
